What You'll Get to Do:
- You will use your 5 plus years of direct sales experience in the technology industry to drive incremental business of Panasonic Connect including hardware, software and services to the United Sates Navy.
- The Account Manager will develop, implement and manage a strategic business and sales plan for their given region.
- Develop business and relationships with Assigned End Users and VA's through close communications and personal visits.
- Promote new and key products to this customer base through demonstrations and presentations.
- Develop and identify new end user opportunities through prospecting and key end user calls and demos to meet the company objectives of pipeline development.
- Work with VARs as much as possible to help develop this new business through the dealer channel
What You'll Bring:
- 5 plus years’ experience in a business development, sales, or strategy position, selling directly to U.S. DoD customers. U.S. Navy sales experience is preferred.
- 3 plus years of exceeded performance-based business incentives and exceeding sales quota.
- Bachelors Degree in Business and or Marketing or equivalent.
- Previous Navy experience and direct knowledge of Navy Command Structure, Programs related to Rugged and Semi Rugged Mobility, and other Navy acquisition methodologies.
- Experience in U.S. Government contracting and an understanding of government acquisition mechanisms and cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and close deals independently, as well an ability to exercise good judgment and seek support when needed.
