Identify New Business Opportunities (30%)
- Analyze market trends and opportunities within scope of current business and future opportunities
- Generate new customer opportunities by identifying key decision makers, evaluate potential business opportunities, and ultimately drive net new revenue for the company
- Develop business relationships with identified/targeted customers and partners through executive level communications and frequent interactions
- Assist with the development of sales and business strategy centered around current and future capabilities
- Work with Marketing team to design and implement marketing strategies
- Develop presentation strategies and prepare/present proposals to prospects
- Visit potential customers and present company capabilities and solutions offerings
- Other duties as assigned
Develop New Offerings for Current Business (15%)
- Communicate with current customers to understand industry-specific challenges and needs
- Attend on-site customer visits and observe current business operations
- Solicit customer feedback on short-comings of current offerings or competitor offerings
Product/Service Offering Knowledge Development (15%)
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and application
- Maintain a high level of competitive product awareness
- Fundamentally understand relevant technologies
- Develop & maintain high level of knowledge in specific needs of the company (focused on vertical market sectors)
- Stay with changes in technologies and communicate this knowledge to team members as well as prospective customers
- Attain firm understanding of product/service lifecycle
Sales Meetings/Conferences/Travel (30%)
- Attend National Sales Meetings annually
- Participate in training seminars/conferences as needed
- Provide facility tours/presentations for prospective and current customers
Intercompany Collaboration/Implementation of Programs (10%)
- Participate in meetings/discussions with all levels of management
- Work alongside department managers to attain and maintain knowledge of operations
- Solicit involvement and feedback from relevant departments relating to new products/service offerings
Educational/Experiential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in sales, marketing or related field.
- Must be able to think strategically & establish direction
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- General knowledge of electronic products
- Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office and Windows products
- Possess good organizational and decision-making skills
- Prior customer interaction experience

- Ability to balance and coordinate workload for multiple projects
