Summary

The Maintenance Service Technician I (MST I) will be responsible to perform line maintenance, which include, but is not limited to in-flight entertainment and connectivity to ensure aircraft and systems serviceability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform line maintenance under the direct supervision of a certifier during transit checks in accordance with the contractual obligations or PAC's LMP
  • Perform allocated maintenance tasks under supervision, including but not limited to, troubleshooting system failures, component replacements, performing cabin sweets, performing transit and maintenance checks and performing built-in and manual tests
  • Ensure timely escalation of any problem occurring in the assigned aircraft area and coordinate with Lead or Supervisor
  • Actively promoting the PAC Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Assisting in the management of airside inventory, cycle counting, packaging and shipping of inventory
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and tool care
Requirements
  • Hold a B1 mechanic qualification with at least 18 months' experience on aircraft
  • Hold a secondary or technical school qualification
  • Have essential and related aircraft maintenance experience
  • Able to professionally and clearly communicate with customers (engineers, flight crew and colleagues)
  • Able to work in high-pressure environment and within time constraints without compromising the quality of work
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Work, Excel and Outlook. Linux is a plus!
  • A valid driver's license and passport, own transport will be advantageous
  • Able to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, which includes late nights, early mornings, public holidays and weekends
  • Have full working rights in Australia
