As the Security Operations Manager with a focus on automation, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of automated security processes and procedures. You will lead a team of security professionals to ensure the continuous improvement of our security operations, enhancing efficiency, and reducing response times to security incidents.

  • Lead the development and implementation of automated security operations processes, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within the security operations center and broader cybersecurity infrastructure.
  • Design and implement automated workflows for security monitoring, alerting, and response using industry-leading automation tools and platforms.
  • Define key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of automated security operations processes.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of automated security processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security operations analysts on automation techniques, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity automation, threat intelligence, and incident response to continuously improve security operations capabilities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans for enhancing security operations through automation and process optimization.
  • Act as a liaison with external vendors and partners to evaluate, recommend, and implement automation solutions that align with business objectives and security requirements.
  • Participate in incident response activities as needed, providing leadership and direction during security incidents and breaches.
What You'll Bring:    Education and Experience: 
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and technologies
  • Track record of driving process automation initiatives

The salary range of $135K – $150k is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
