We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare use tax for purchased items that were not properly taxed
- Prepare check requests for tax payments
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliation for sales and use tax accounts
- Organize tax audit responses as required
- Monthly review of AP invoices for taxability
- Organize and submit all details needed to obtain various economic incentives related to the start up of the manufacturing building

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
- Basic/Required: BA / BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant sales and use tax experience
- Preferred: Advanced degree
Essential Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Sales & Use tax.
- Technical proficiency in MS Excel to provide analytics and SAP
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets and database functions for tracking, variance analysis and reporting Knowledge of SAP, Oracle or another fully integrated ERP system
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S4
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with economic incentive programs
- Build strong relationships and collaborate well at all levels
- Ability to work with domestic and international teams
- Resilient, self-motived and able to work well under pressure
Preferred Certification(s):
- CPA
