- Perform Process / Product Audits to ensure Production is in compliance with process controls and requirements
- Visually inspect cases on all areas of Line and offline to validate they meet Customer and Engineering requirements. Perform functional tests (e.g., Pressure Decay test)
- Process all associated paperwork necessary to complete Case Inspections (Process and Product) taking required photos, entering inspection record in Intelex and closing jobs in BaaN system
- Able to read engineering drawings, electrical and piping diagrams
- Capable to use measurement equipment such as measure tape, pressure gauges, etc.
- Document case nonconformance, report issue/s to Supervision and complete by signing off after rework / fix is deemed acceptable
- Other duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor or Quality Manager
- Must have at least 1-year experience with building cases. Preferably end of line, off-line or refrigeration.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- The individual must have good communication skills.
- Must have experience using screw guns, drill motors, & be able read tape measures.
- Familiar with Bill of Materials (BOM), Hussmann Cases - Sales Order Acknowledgement is a plus.
- Employee must be confident while inspecting and willing to stand behind a quality product he/she is putting his/her name on prior to shipping orders to customers.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a positive attitude and a drive for innovation offering new & creative ideas that will improve the Quality department’s efficiencies. Knowledge of various case models.
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Must join a union
- Familiar with Bill of Materials (BOM), Hussmann Cases - Sales Acknowledgement is a plus
