The Production Supervisor at Door Process is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities on the door manufacturing line.
Responsabilidades
Mains Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operation of the door production line, ensuring compliance with production plans and established times.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to the operators of the production line, ensuring the proper flow of activities.
- Ensure that the door manufacturing process is carried out in accordance with standard procedures and quality and safety regulations.
- Monitor quality controls throughout the production process, ensuring that manufactured doors meet customer design requirements and specifications.
- Perform periodic inspections to identify and correct deviations in product quality.
- Ensure that the necessary resources (materials, tools and equipment) are available and in adequate conditions for the start of production.
- Manage material inventories to avoid production stoppages due to lack of inputs.
- Participate in the implementation of improvements in production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with other departments (maintenance, logistics, quality) to identify areas of opportunity and optimize processes.
- Ensure the safety of personnel and working conditions on the production line, complying with industrial safety regulations.
- Train employees in the proper use of machinery and equipment, as well as safety procedures.
Experience and requirements
- Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the door or similar products manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Metal Mechanics.
- English (Desirable) Not essential.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of door manufacturing processes (wooden, metal, security doors, etc.).
- Handling of tools and industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards, continuous improvement processes and inventory control.
- Skills:
- Leadership and team management.
- Ability to identify and solve problems efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge in the use of production management systems (ERP).
