Key Accountabilities
Talent Acquisition Support
- Execute recruitment efforts to attract top talent from universities, colleges, and other academic institutions, supporting the Company’s growth in new markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with career services offices, academic departments, student organizations, and faculty members to establish Panasonic as an employer of choice.
- Attend career fairs, networking events, and information sessions to engage with students at all educational levels, from universities to middle schools, inspiring future talent.
Program Support
- Assist in managing all aspects of internship programs, including marketing, onboarding, event coordination, workshops, and housing, while collaborating with the Emerging Talent Manager to align with strategic goals.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure smooth execution of internship placements, delivering a high-quality experience for participants and managers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internship participants and managers, providing guidance and support throughout the program.
Continuous Improvement
- Develop and deliver presentations and materials that effectively communicate the Company’s mission, culture, and opportunities to students and academic partners.
- Identify opportunities to enhance partnerships with academic institutions to differentiate the Company’s employer brand and support its expansion into new markets.
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience: Degree required/preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related fields, with a passion for emerging talent and campus recruitment.
- Proven experience in coordinating or supporting programs, related to internships or early-career initiatives.
- Ability to organize and execute campus recruitment efforts, including career fairs, recruitment events, and networking sessions.
- Basic project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with learning management systems.
Problem Solving: Complexity of problems
- Superior organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work independently and balancing multiple projects in a large complex corporate environment
- Customer focus, effective legal compliance and recruiting resource management
- Proactive approach to support the team on all tasks and projects
Communications: Key communications contacts (internal/external) and level of persuasion required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver professional presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including university partners.
Other Requirements: e.g. Working conditions, physical requirements, travel, etc.
- Travel locally and multi-state for career fairs and networking sessions
- Local travel to off-site events supporting internship events
