What You'll Get To Do:
- Support other Engineer develops battery pack software based on specification, using C/C++ and other related software development tools
- Support other Engineer for design review of the product with Electrical Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Project Management (PM), Certifications, etc. during development
- Support software and other department activities related to battery pack development
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related degree
- Experience with software coding, specifically C/C++
- Proficiency with Microsoft operation system, Microsoft Visual Studio, MS office products
- Knowledge of C/C++ and firmware development is required
- Hardware testing using basic lab equipment (ex. power supply, oscilloscope) and documentation of code functionality
- Analytical, good technical foundation, problem solver. Should be innovative, take the initiative to address problems and find solutions
- Technical writing and speaking in English are clear enough to be understood by native English and non-native English speakers
- Japanese is not required but is beneficial
Other Requirements:
- Required physical ability to lift and move 22 pounds occasionally
- No issue to hear, see abnormal situation to investigate normal electronic device including li-ion battery
Hourly Range: $17.00 - $38.00
The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
