What You Get to Do:       
  • Sales Engineer SE is responsible for proactively managing technical relationship with clients and to align technology products and solutions.
  • You will also be required to develop a long-term relationship with the clients to ensure their success and realize the full value of Panasonics products, services and solutions.
  • In collaboration with Territory Account Managers TAMs and aligned with Panasonic goals and objectives, the SE focuses on the following core areas: product and solution demonstrations, product operational training, advanced technical support problem resolution, consulting support, customer satisfaction as well as quality management.
  • Product Knowledge Develop an extensive technical understanding of all Panasonic broadcast, cinema and professional video systems, solutions and services. This includes in-depth understanding of KAIROS SMPTE ST 2110 IP based production switcher system of PTZ cameras including streaming and auto tracking workflows along with Studio camera systems
What You'll Bring:Education and Experience:
  • B.S. degree in at least one of the following areas computer science, electrical engineering, broadcast or AV engineering CCNA certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of IP protocols 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS and Linux
  • 3 years of experience in a live production environment with the ability to operate a production switcher
  • Strategic thinker who takes a systematic approach to solving problems to ensure customer satisfaction and achieving company goals

Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled presenter who is comfortable with one on one or large group audiences.
  • Effectively communicate with internal departments sales, service, product management, engineering, etc.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work variable hours including some weekends due to business travel, customer availability and trade show involvement. 
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40lbs. 
What We Offer:      The salary range of $75,000 –$105,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
