Production / Test Supervisor

Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager for the plant, the Production Floor/Test Supervisor will supervise assigned production floor lines/cells and drive the need to meet business goals efficiently and safely.   Incumbent will implement Lean concepts into production processes; collect, analyze and audit data and specified metrics; provide suggestions for process improvement and cost reduction; manage production schedule, inventory control, material presentation, and quality/safety   Selected candidate will become subject matter expert for all aspects of electrical test and will participate in electrical test process to assist in testing and problem troubleshooting.  Selected candidate will comply with all OSHA requirement for electrical test.  Candidate will also oversee mechanical test process.  Incumbent will work in a non-union environment.

Job Description

1.    Supervise assigned Production Floor lines/cells/machine and control panel testing

2.    Implement Lean processes. Recommend and implement process improvement and cost reduction.

3.    Manage production schedule. Collect, analyze, maintain ownership of various manufacturing data.

4.    Manage materials presentation, production, quality, and safety.

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:   

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or related environment.
• BS degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have strong understanding of National Electrical Code and control panels principles to be successful at supporting the testing process. Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills.
