The position:     

 You will ensure all employees and Business Partners in the Pune, India and two super regions (APAC & EMEA) and/or Joint Venture (s) understand applicable PAC polices (including Financial Crime, Anti Bribery & Corruption, Conflicts of Interest Management, and related Code of Ethics & Compliance requirements) and ensure that all regulatory requirements are identified, processes are in place to ensure standards can be met, monitoring is undertaken and guidance and training for improvement is provided as necessary.    

     

Key Responsibilities:    

    

 Training & Communications    

  • Conduct or coordinate Ethics & Compliance training as part of regional/country onboarding processes at the direction of the Regional Compliance Officer and OEC Training & Awareness management
  • Identify and report to the Regional Compliance Officer the risk areas and target audiences that could benefit from additional training opportunities
  • Conduct live (including web-based) targeted training at employee’s location, as directed
  • Prepare and assist in preparing training materials for local and corporate initiatives, as directed
  • Coordinate the release of country-specific communications at the direction of the Office of Ethics & Compliance
  • Assist in advising on and/or coordinating translations of communications for the region
  • Monitoring Oversight
  • Ensure that government notices and responses are coordinated through PAC Legal and PAC Office of Ethics & Compliance
  • Monitor regulatory environment as directed by the PAC Office of Ethics & Compliance and the Regional Compliance Officer
  • Support internal audits, as needed, and support audit remediation actions at the direction of the Office of Ethics & Compliance
  • Refer allegations of misconduct to the Office of Ethics & Compliance

    

Guidance    

  • Establish yourself as a business partner in the region who can provide direct compliance guidance with minimal oversight on questions related to the company ethics and compliance program, including gifts & entertainment, donations, charitable contributions, compliance with anti-corruption laws, etc.
  • Support and/or coordinate regional-specific tasks, at the direction of the Regional Compliance Officer and Office of Ethics & Compliance
  • Policies
  • Assist with implementing ethics and compliance corporate policies and procedures in the regional locations
  • Identify and report potential country-specific policy compliance issues and determine if a regional version of any policy or implementing procedures are needed; escalate and support the development of any regional policy needs
  • Monitor and report on the external environment for possible changes that would impact the ethics and compliance  program, policies, procedures, etc., for the region and report developments to the Regional Compliance Officer

     

Third-Party Due Diligence & Reputational Assessments    

  • Serve as point-of-contact for anti-corruption due diligence reviews for vendors and Business Partners, client reputational and provide assessments of potential risks associated with these transactions in the regional locations
  • Train relevant business personnel on third-party due diligence and communication efforts to ensure awareness of the formalized processes
  • Interact directly with Business Sponsors to educate them on and address their questions and concerns regarding the due diligence process
  • Coordinate training of third parties, as needed, at the direction of the Office of Ethics & Compliance Training & Awareness management
  • Act as an ambassador for the ethics and compliance program and coordinate with other functions to escalate ancillary issues revealed during diligence and reputational reviews to appropriate subject matter experts, clarifying the processes, and supporting anti-corruption due diligence and reputational screenings in non-vendor transactions
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts (e.g., with Legal, Procurement, etc.) in the regional locations at the direction of the Office of Ethics & Compliance to streamline and expedite the anti-corruption due diligence and reputational screening processes

    

Investigations Support    

  • Serve as an investigative analyst, supporting regional investigations as directed by the Regional Compliance Officer and the Office of Ethics & Compliance
  • Provide support on investigative process improvement projects or related “hotline” tasks related to metrics, reporting, governance (e.g., research), etc.

     

   What We’re Looking For:       

  •  Understanding of compliance laws, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, U.K. Bribery Act, global competition laws, and data privacy.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, in addition to a demonstrated record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to deliver crisp, clear and concise executive presentations; professional presence and ability to interact effectively with executive management.
  • Capable of inspiring trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills with employees at all levels of the Company.
  • Demonstrated track record of being proactive, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, and focusing on critical priorities with little or no supervision.
  • Degree Level education or equivalent
