Our growing team is looking for a D2C Sales and Merchandising Specialist to lead sales planning and merchandising on Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company’s owned and operated e-commerce sites.  Core to the growth of Panasonic’s e-commerce business, the ideal candidate will work across categories and functions to drive all aspects of D2C channel related to demand generation and digital shelf.  This role is responsible for website performance and merchandising with a focus on revenue growth, driving new customer acquisition and building retention.   

   

What You'll Get to Do:    

Sales Planning and Demand Generation   

  • Oversee promotion planning and execution, forecasting daily and weekly sales performance, and utilizing this data to craft ongoing recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs across sales, traffic, user behavior, and other key drivers of site performance.
  • Collaborative sales forecast management with stakeholders from Product and Marketing, aligning sales plans with core KPIs and sales goals.
  • Develop and manage promotion roadmap, checkbook and budgets.

Digital Shelf and Merchandising    

  • Manage product placement, implement content strategy, and creating reports to evaluate digital shelf performance.
  • Lead and implement online promotional merchandising and content changes, including product page updates, landing pages development, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with the Performance, CX and Brand Experience teams to deliver campaigns and activities that build traffic, engage and retain users on our site, and increase conversions
  • Work cross functionally to drive loyalty and retention program to delight and retain users across channels

Cross-Functional Internal Alignment    

  • Partner internally with digital capability teams, sales, demand planning, finance, strategy, creative, and external vendors.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Finance to manage third party agencies and optimize value chain to decrease cost to serve ensuring eCommerce operations are scalable and profitable.
  • Assist with P and L management

   

Analytics and Reporting    

  • Provide weekly insights based on data regarding site optimization, SEO and SEM factors, and D2C trends.
  • Lead monthly review meetings with Product and Marketing teams to identify challenges, develop countermeasures and further refine strategies.
  • Audit analytics and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement 

   

What You'll Bring:    

Education and Experience   

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years in D2C eCommerce, Shopify experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of web analytics with first-hand experience in tools such as Google Analytics
  • Good knowledge of full-funnel conversion optimization and the most important SEO practices
  • Familiarity with content, sales, and demand generation key performance indicators

  • Flexible, adaptable team player with strong interpersonal skills.  
  • Willingness to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills to persuade decision makers

   

Other Requirements   

  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel, SAP, Power BI, Dashboards for additional tools.
  • Hybrid Work Policy. 2 Days in Office and 3 Days Work from Home
