Working within the Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company Consumer Group, this internship will offer opportunities to partner with all teams to solve analytical and data problems. The intern will utilize both creativity and analytical approaches to solve problems encountered in various projects. Our CSG team is responsible for producing reliable reporting, business intelligence, and automating the data process flow for Service Activity, Call Center stats, Parts Sales, Products Returns, and Product Sales.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Maintain existing reports, keys and data handling
  • Support Service Activity, Call Center stats, Parts Sales, and Products Returns reporting and data improvement
  • Support improvement of PCEC sales reporting
  • Create and maintain automations and new data process
  • Support Power BI environment and various dashboard related to Sales, Service, Operational and Finance activities. 
  • Work directly with the business teams and will serve on minor and major projects from time-to-time 
  • Participate in process optimization for reporting and analysis 
  • Create business intelligence solutions by studying informational needs, conferring with users, studying system flows, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the development life cycle; complying with design and development standards 
  • Create and generate connected content in Microsoft Power Apps 
  • Create and maintain automation and API connections such as in Microsoft Power Automate 
  • Write code for Power BI queries and dataflows in M, create Power BI paginated reports and code queries to process data
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation material and progress on work to key team members and management

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree with major, minor, emphasis in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, Information Science or Technology, Mathematics or Operations Research
  • Familiar with Power BI DAX, and common Excel functions
  • Experience with Power BI queries preferred
  • Able to research problems and independently create solutions, plus debug code problems
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, but not reluctant to ask questions

 

Hourly Range: $17.00 - $38.00
