During his internship, LJ contributed to a variety of marketing projects and collaborated with teams across sales, product management and operations. He values the opportunity he had to explore diverse areas within the company, which played a key role in shaping his well-rounded perspective and skill set. Reflecting on the experience, LJ shares, "I was exposed to a lot of different projects to see what I liked and get a feel of where I wanted to go in my marketing career.”
After 16 months, his internship ended, and LJ was offered a chance to interview for a full-time role as a Marketing Specialist. It was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.
"I knew Panasonic was the right place for me. The culture was right, the people were right, I felt great about the work I was putting out there and the assignments I was receiving. I knew it was a fit hand-in-hand.”
In terms of advice for future interns, LJ shares, “Don’t lose faith in what you’re trying to achieve. Go the next step and show it in your work, not just through speaking about it. If you want that full-time job, it’s really a conversation you must have with your manager – show your work, be positive, be confident in yourself, and know that what you’ve done is enough to land you a full-time opportunity.”
