PNA Logistics prides itself on delivering Lean solutions across a wide range of logistics functions. The key to our success is largely dependent on stellar program/project support. We’re currently searching for an experienced project lead to join our ranks and support highly visible logistics transformation projects. PNA Logistics is performing a North American warehouse network optimization to transform warehouse operations to effectively support business divisions. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to standardize, track and implement this multiyear strategic project. As a natural born leader and a quick learner, you will have outstanding talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to deliver results and nurture project success from inception to completion.

What you will get to do:
This role reports to the Logistics Program Manager and is responsible for supporting North American warehouse study and standardizing the PNA Logistics operations projects to deliver operational excellence, strategy execution, and customer delight across business units. This role will also support strategic portfolio projects in Panasonic Logistics team providing an outstanding opportunity to be part of a highly visible team. This individual will build a best-in-class customer focused project/program through utilization of a lean management philosophy and driven by data-based decisions through KPI management, voice of customer and continuous improvement.

  • Standardize existing operations and implement best practices through expertise in warehouse management procedures
  • Track warehouse project assessment KPIs and protocols for improvement and identify risks and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain and drive project standards of customer satisfaction, schedule, quality, cost and performance
  • Coordinate tasks among multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are aligned and achieved
  • Report program/project status and dashboards to Executive/Sr. Leadership on a regular basis 
  • Build trust by communicating effectively among internal and external stakeholders and coordinating tasks under tight deadlines

Warehouse Optimization Lead

  • Strategically support North American Warehouse study in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts
  • Strategically execute WMS improvements by effectively communicating with business and IT stakeholders
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors

Logistics Transformation Project Lead

  • Work closely with business divisions, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, schedule, budget, and sequencing for new initiatives
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome project risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Support program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment and Lead cross-project initiatives

Lean Operations Practitioner

  • Study, learn and implement Lean program management, problem solving, process improvement and continuous improvement in multiple areas of our business
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving initiatives by utilizing proven lean concepts
  • Drive data-based decision making for continuous improvement of customer operations through KPI management and lean best practices

What We Offer:

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS in Industrial, Supply Chain Logistics or Engineering.  MBA a plus
  • 3+ years of project management, preferred experience in Logistics and Operations teams
  • Warehouse modeling and network optimization experience required
  • Warehouse operations experience required and warehouse management system (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Oracle Warehouse Management and/or SAP) experience a plus
  • Lean Continuous Improvement Experience
  • PMP, ASCM/APICS Certifications a plus
