Essential Duties:
- Interpret between Japanese expats and domestic staff
- Provide interpretation for various meetings as well as telephone conferences
- Translate technical and non-technical documents including policies, instructions, and manuals when necessary
- Compose and translate emails, reports, and various administrative functions
- Ability to translate from Japanese to English and English to Japanese
- Communication support for Japanese expats and business trippers.
- Other duties may assign by management

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
- Basic/Required: Some High School
- Preferred: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
Essential Qualifications:
- Written and verbal fluency in Japanese and English, excellent communication and writing skills
- Japanese/ English business language skills
- Translator / interpreter experience in a business/ technical environment, manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to translate quickly and accurately
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
- May require some travel to Japan or Reno, NV.
- On-site position with possible remote work as needed by supervisor and travel.

Panasonic's role at the Gigafactory is to manufacture and supply cylindrical lithium-ion cells to Tesla for their electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
