Responsibilities:
- Ensure that systems transactions are completed and filed accurately and on time.
- Perform daily and annual cycle counts.
- Put away and pull parts for production.
- Receive, process, put away, transfer, pull kits and restock parts to/from various areas.
- Support all Lean and Quality Initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5 day work week, 8 hour shift:
- Sitting
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience with parts pulling and cycle counting
- Must be able to read and understand units of measurement (ex: feet, inches, each, roll, etc.).
- Experience working in stockroom/warehouse department is required.
- Must be able to accurately record and transfer information/transactions to required forms.
- Experience with bar code guns is required.
- Willing to cross-train and work when needed across all areas of stockroom, shipping and receiving.
- Must be able to use power tools, forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Must be able to perform work responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by production needs.
- Must be able to work with all levels of employees within plant/office and external suppliers and truck drivers.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to push/pull a fully loaded cart (maximum of 125 lbs).
- Experience with ISO 9001, 5S and Lean Manufacturing a plus.
