What You'll Get to Do:

Portfolio Planning and Reporting:
  • Responsible for periodic spend visibility reporting and working with the category leads and key business partners to ensure data integrity Partner with the business to build influence and challenge the status quo. Identify and obtain buy-in for category strategies and value opportunities
  • Work in conjunction with category leads to implement planning processes for key spend areas, integrating supply and demand market dynamics, supplier intelligence, cost analysis as well as opportunities to leverage cross-category and cross-business unit synergies. Actively drive value beyond cost – e.g., growth, innovation, risk management
  • Develop KPIs and supporting reporting tools to track and monitor sourcing initiatives, productivity and overall procurement performance
Knowledge Management:
  • Ensure use of leading strategic sourcing methods and tools to support category leads in delivering exceptional total cost value creation and supply quality and assurance. Gather stakeholder and subject-matter expertise and insights and market intelligence to ensure sourcing solutions meet business needs
  • Update and maintain team sourcing templates; e.g., RFI, RFx, contracts, etc. Analyze supplier proposals and facilitate fact-based supplier selection process
  • Evaluate external market intelligence and best practices for category leads to leverage
  • Leverage external benchmarking and intelligence to challenge status quo and identify incremental value opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices with the goal of increasing project velocity and results
Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Establish leading supplier relationship management practices to optimize value and minimize risks
  • Implement formalized supplier segmentation and tracking process across strategic supplier base
  • Build policies and procedures to review supplier performance against contracted obligations, service levels and business requirements
  • Implement processes and tools to drive continuous improvements post contract execution
  • Work with category managers to systematically leverage supplier innovation
  • Create, monitor and report on supplier management KPIs
  • Implement risk mitigation practices to anticipate, monitor and manage supply risk
  • Manage and optimize relationships with 3rd party Procurement service providers 
  • Leverages existing and new technologies to further automate the procurement function
  • Implements and maintains spend analytics and visibility
  • Monitor procurement technology landscape to periodically update technology strategy and roadmap
  • Manage Procurement Technology roadmap, implementation, deployment and users or supplier adoption
  • Increase procurement technology adoption and synergies across multiple business units, utilizing uniform solutions
  • Automate reporting to provide visibility into and track the compliance as well as results of deployed initiatives
Program Governance, Tracking and Reporting:
  • Proactively manage and track compliance within team and business stakeholders to processes for Procurement processes and policies Identify, oversee, pursue and manage re-engineering, value engineering and demand management opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, interfacing with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure and improve the effectiveness of the key elements of the procurement organization
  • Manage governance between procurement and internal customers including KPIs to track and measure service delivery
  • Track, monitor and properly allocate procurement savings and associated costs to divisional budgets
  • Develop communications and reporting to track and communicate Procurement’s value contribution for Executive Team and Divisions
  • Meet with Division Heads, Finance and other key stakeholders to report on and validate procurement impact
  • Provide assistance and support for the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts as they are defined
  • Executes sourcing project or other special projects as needed
What You'll Bring:
  • BS or BA degree Business, Supply Chain or other relevant area required
  • MBA and other relevant degree or certification; e.g., ISM CPSM highly desirable
  • 7 years+ of relevant strategic sourcing experience required
  • Deep experience with procurement technology including Spend Analytics, eSourcing, Procure to Pay, and SRM
  • Experience with category management strategies, spend diagnostics, strategic sourcing process, and supplier management with a proven track record of delivering business impact
  • Strong analytical, financial, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, and innovative
  • Experience working effectively in global complex organizations
  • Ability to lead and influence change in the face of complexity and ambiguity
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Thrives in a fast paced, goal oriented, dynamic organization with time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong project management skills, including stakeholder timelines and meeting management skills
  • Expert understanding of supplier management concepts for driving additional value and managing risks
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to achieve key business, organizational and cross-cultural objectives.
  • Thorough working knowledge of procurement best practices
  • In depth understanding of financial concepts, total cost of ownership, working capital, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of TQM methodology, their application and their use towards continuous improvements
  • Technology-savvy and high competency in MS office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
