We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior IT Analyst to join our growing Infrastructure and Operations team. As a Senior IT Analyst, you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic team, leveraging your expertise to drive technological innovation, support junior team members, and contribute to strategic planning efforts. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from providing technical guidance and mentorship to collaborating with vendors and participating in advanced data analysis. You will play a vital part in the design and implementation of new system configurations, ensuring seamless operations while adhering to security and compliance standards. Your strategic insights and project management skills will contribute to the realization of our department's goals and the organization's overall success.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide training and mentorship to junior IT Analysts, helping them develop their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of IT best practices.
  • Offer guidance on complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and assist in resolving escalated support cases.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of hardware and software issues, including managing service level agreements (SLAs) and escalations.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and propose changes or alternatives when necessary to optimize service delivery.
  • Work closely with your team supervisor and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of the DTG department's strategic plans and goals.
  • Participate in discussions and brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities for technological innovation and improvement within the organization.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Interpret data trends and patterns to inform decision-making, resource allocation, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new system and software configurations that align with business needs and technological advancements.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and automation, driving efficiency gains and enhanced user experiences.
  • Stay current with industry trends, enriching your expertise and sharing knowledge to promote growth and innovation.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for system architectures, design decisions, and technical specifications, ensuring clear understanding by stakeholders.
  • Document system and software configurations, detailing settings, dependencies, and rationale to facilitate replication and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance to all Panasonic policies and procedures including SOX, ISO-9001, ISO-27001, and ITGC/ITAC.
  • All other similar or related duties as assigned.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a requirement for some roles at PENA and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IS/CS, or similar discipline, and/or equivalent related work experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), including the ability to explain and present technical information; effectively train/advise users on information technology issues; prepare written documentation in a clear and concise style.
  • Draw on creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to explore problems and provide innovative technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and software applications.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail; strong analytical, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Approachable and adaptable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle many changing projects and requests.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear/equipment regularly and properly.
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will have A minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Previous experience in mentoring/training and vendor management is highly desirable.
  • Profound understanding of various IT systems, software, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and system integration techniques.
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, allocate resources efficiently, and deliver results on time and within scope
  • Experience working in a large-scale production or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Certification(s):

  • ITIL Foundations
  • CompTIA A+

Physical Demands:

  • Candidate must be able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time. Also, the candidate will be required to lift and/or carry IT peripherals.
