The CPM is a seasoned professional with Software Solutions Sales experience, who can communicate effectively with potential manufacturing customers using both Operational Technology and Information Technology terminology & concepts. They will act as the account manager for customers all the way from a potential lead to installation of the solution. He or she will be well versed in manufacturing technologies and processes in order to be a trusted advisor and consultant to customers.
What You'll Get to Do:
Lead Qualification:- Quickly assess and qualify the leads to rate and prioritize the potential customers for fit to our target market and solution.
- Follow up on a regular basis with high potential customers to progress them through the buying process; Document all interactions and tasks in Salesforce.com.
- Deliver presentations and demonstrate the Panasonic Logiscend applications to prospects and their key decision-makers, highlighting benefits and success stories.
- Travel to potential customer sites to understand customer issues, offer our software solutions, discuss ROI scenarios with the customer and evaluate proper fit for both customers and Panasonic.
- Demonstrate Logiscend using a demo kit, videos and power-point as needed, engage in OT or IT discussions and highlight to the customer the benefits of Logiscend versus competition.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer and other technical resources as needed. Develop a practical solution to the customer problem using a combination of the Panasonic Logiscend platform software, Panasonic hardware and 3rd party hardware, as needed.
- Drive customer requirement calls, ensuring that expectations are clearly set and managed internally and externally to enable high levels of customer success and satisfaction
- Collaborate with the customer champion to develop the business case and return on investment for the Panasonic solution; Communicate the value the solution will bring to the site and help them sell the proposal to their stakeholders.
- Develop Rough Order of Magnitude estimates and detailed price quotations and solution proposals with calculated margins. Present the proposal to Panasonic IIoT leadership for approval.
- Provide regular updates to Management on progression of the various accounts; Keep Salesforce.com updated with accurate close dates, revenue, and product demand.
- Identify and develop new Solutions opportunities through proactive engagement with customers, and ensure that these initiatives are well aligned with the solutions roadmap. Serve as solution delivery expert for the execution of the customer projects.
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience:- A minimum of 6 years of experience in direct selling of software solutions to capital goods manufacturing customers
- Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience in a technical or software field required
- Experience in integrating hardware and software systems preferred
- Manufacturing or Industrial Logistics domain expertise preferred with experience in RFID and other Real Time Location System solutions a plus.
- CRM experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- A passion for the customer with a strong commitment to offering solutions to their problems.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work both independently and in teams on complex problems.
- Excellent computer and technical skills to be able to demonstrate software and hardware to potential customers; technically savvy
- Ability to multi-task and drive multiple projects through the solutions cycle effectively; Proactive and diligent on prospect or customer follow-up
- Ability to work well with colleagues, influence, motivate and drive the teams to completion
- Effective time management, with well-developed organizational skills and change management experience.
