What You'll Get To Do:
Procurement Operation Management:
Analyze customer needs and provide value added service to consolidate procurement functions of Panasonic factories to maximize efficiency
Control inventory and delivery, checking inventory and balance purchase order status, negotiating with suppliers and customers and cooperating with business associate; warehouse, logistics companies
Control logistics cost and business process cost referring to business rule
Summarize monthly profit and loss and balance sheet figures for each in-charge account
Solution Development:
Identify opportunities to improve, develop and expand the global procurement scheme through purchase and supply of raw materials.
Communicate with business associates such as customers, suppliers, logistics service providers smoothly with problem solving mind.
Utilize RPA method and Data Analytics to improve visibility of procurement status and issue
Provide solution for trade compliance and tariff strategy against political situation
Admin:
Maintain the computer system master data for customer, vendor and product including price, minimum order quantity, delivery lead time, etc.
Ensure timely collection of account receivables from customers
Ensure timely payment of invoices to suppliers, freight and warehouse companies
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience:
Prefer 3-5 years or more global procurement experience
BA or BS in International Business preferred
Must be proficient with MS Office suite, particularly with Excel
- Position is located in Overland Park, Kansas

Communications:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information to top management.
Japanese language skill is a plus.

Overnight travel as business needs require
Ability to work extended shifts, evenings and weekends as business needs require
