Responsible for the development and execution of the roadmap for the Panasonic product portfolio with a focus on In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Autonomous Driving and Safety (ADAS), Cluster, Cockpit Domain Controllers, High Performance Compute sub-segments. Responsibilities include the planning, implementation and/or definition of successful product plans, customer / market requirement documents, sales and marketing enablement and product launches for Panasonic’s products and platforms as well as the measuring the effectiveness of PASA products over product lifecycles. Leads company-wide business planning and corporate strategy process.  Plans, manages, compiles information, draw conclusions, and makes recommendations by providing Executive Management support in company level strategic planning.  Gathers information/intelligence, performs analysis, and compiles/prepares business reports.




  • Communicates with internal and external customers on local and global level.
  • Works with external and internal stakeholders to perform market analysis and customer needs analysis to develop market opportunity assessments and business model proposals to aid product investment decisions and customer requirements for new and existing products.
  • Works with Engineering, Legal, Finance and other groups to manage each product release from inception to general availability, participating in design reviews, status meetings, and other engineering meetings as required.
  • Assists Program Management and Engineering to supplement RFI / Request for Proposals (RFP’s), Request For / RFQ responses with appropriate ecosystem partners. Additionally reviews RFI / RFP / RFQ responses for commonality and trends to influence product direction and strategy.
  • Prime for product releases including MRDs, alpha/beta programs, etc.
  • Prime liaison for required partner agreements / licensing and contracts related to the product and/or segment (supplement to purchasing).
  • Defines and develops product roadmap.
  • Analyzes competitive businesses and solutions relevant to current and future products and technologies.
  • Works closely with Sales teams in support of customer opportunities.
  • Provides ongoing feedback from the sales channel and customers into the company regarding products.
  • Responsible for win/loss analysis and reporting.
  • Maintains product dashboard and related reporting.
  • Responsible to maintain current knowledge and awareness of high level corporate strategies, objectives, events, policies, corporate projects, and competitive intelligence that are vital to the overall corporation which are relevant to the PASJ/PASA business globally and locally.
  • Creates and maintains records, logs, document files, and databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending product/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management. Responsible for definition of corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Responsible for tracking and execution of advanced projects related to business development priorities with North American OEMs.
  • Serves as the point of contact for management to gather competitive analysis and benching information. Researches new acquisition opportunities and general knowledge of current and future market place.
  • Assists with Intellectual Property (IP) strategy. Includes reviewing competitive IP strategy landscape and compares with Panasonic IP portfolio in conjunction with overall PASA Product and Corporate strategic initiatives.  Supports the Invention Review committee.  Helps to set strategy and product direction based on IP landscape.



  • Bachelors in Engineering, Business, computer science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in product management or technical roles.
  • Automotive experience in In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), HUD, Cluster, or Autonomous Driving and Safety (ADAS) markets.
  • Pragmatic marketing certification or other product management training is considered an asset.
  • Experience in supporting, planning and organizing multiple projects, including monitoring and reporting project status, and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Experience creating/maintaining records, logs, document files, and databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending program/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management.
  • Overall knowledge and basic understanding of the automotive industry is desired including business practices and cost accounting.
  • Strong program/project management skills required.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows based databases as appropriate to the assignment.
