What You’ll Get to Do:

Technical and Process Leadership - 60%
• Work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and integrate them into the roadmap as appropriate
• Act as subject matter expert in the standardization and implementation of global HR business processes, process controls, best practices, and policies/procedures that align to the requirements of our cloud solutions; recommend business process improvements as appropriate
• Manage the design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, communication and training for new tools or changes to existing tools. Lead all technical work in keeping with established IT standards for Panasonic Corporation of North America.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for decision-making and escalations ensuring service levels are met and/or exceeded and all HR technology metrics are trending in a positive direction
• Proactively develop appropriate communication cadence and change methodology to support functions
• Work closely with IT to ensure a proper governance structure and change control process to receive, evaluate, approve, and document process/system changes
• Partner with HR COEs to design a reporting strategy to deliver the data required for meaningful analytical insights to drive people decisions
• Plan, budget, and forecast HR Systems needs and application requirements. Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current systems and the HR technology roadmap keeping executive management informed as appropriate.

Team Leadership and Development - 40%

  • Assess the effectiveness of team members, vendors and technologies in support of the HRIS Shared Services model
  • Define goals, provide leadership and develop 9 employees in the HRIS Shared Service organization
  • Establish vision and prioritize changes that will drive the most value
  • Implement performance and reporting measures, regularly synchronizing with internal customers and stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Cultivate a customer service mindset throughout the team with the goal of creating a seamless, excellent user experience for all users


What You’ll Bring:

Education & Experience

  • 3+ years of Workday experience required
  • BA or BS in HR Management or Computer Science desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of directly managing / influencing teams of people in a global environment

 Key Competencies

  • Strategic vision and the ability to see where the business is headed, define opportunities and develop programs proactively
  • Demonstrated effectiveness leveraging technology and/or outsourced providers to drive down costs and increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • An understanding of how HR technology can add value to the organization and how to prioritize implementations that provide the highest ROI
  • A demonstrated ability to translate vision into action, manage multiple priorities, improve operations, and maintain positive and productive relationships while delivering results
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to consider multiple audiences, bring people along and drive change throughout the organization
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to break down complex concepts and clearly explain them to people at all levels
  • The ability to manage concurrent projects, prioritize work according to strategic goals and meet requirements and deadlines with a positive attitude
