The Senior Manager leads, develops and mentors the FPA team, and supports company succession planning.  As a member of finance leadership, this role will partner with other functional area leaders to drive and disseminate the company's strategic initiatives and ensure that the team is providing quality service to internal customers such as Business Unit Controllers, IT, Human Resources and Payroll, and the HLT. 

  • Lead monthly variance analysis and validation for business unit results and forecast submissions
  • Manage financial reporting requests from Panasonic
  • Responsible for management and validation of Panasonic consolidation reporting systems for Hussmann Consolidated and Panasonic US Company
  • Manage monthly forecast analysis to explain variances compared to forecast, plan and prior year to provide insight on financial results for both Panasonic US Company Reporting and Hussmann Business Division
  • Develop and manage key financial performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Manage and analyze Hussmann Business Division Balance Sheet and Cash flow forecast
  • Lead the completion of required IFRS analysis and the reporting of IFRS adjustments to Panasonic
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly financial bridge process
  • Explore innovative solutions to manual process – including vetting forecasting and planning applications
  • Collaborate across departments and communicate with internal and external customer to achieve results.
  • Support finance talent development and succession planning initiatives
  • Drive process improvements, efficiencies and lead projects that support the Hussmann strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • 10+ years of increasing finance/accounting experience, 3-5 years of FPA with a mid to large firm
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Extensive experience with financial ERP and Financial Consolidation Systems
