Role and Responsibilities
- Lead Support Area and define best practice for daily support and enterprise roadmap within business intelligence functional area
- Collaborate project teams, develop guidelines and goals to measure team and individual performance
- Define and cascade IT concepts and standards within your functional areas by researching and benchmarking industry standards
- Maintain and manage relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure effective prioritization of products, systems and projects
- Ensure Support governance and compliance with policies and procedures
- Responsible of overseeing the performance of a technical support team, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the managed Services support team, work as a horizontal across all the Application development teams to provide support and manage business expectations
- Productivity initiatives, continues improvement & Build and present project content to Stakeholders and HLT
- Person must be ONSITE working & mentoring team on day -in-day out activities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Equivalent experience, education and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of Bachelors.
- 7+ years’ experience with degree (3+ years Leadership experience)
- 15+ years relevant experience without degree
Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading the Business intelligence team and managed services team
- Technology Skills – SQL server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure API management
- Understand organizational metrics and their correlation to business success
- Establish strategic goals and enterprise-wide priorities
- Determine strategic direction around technology and product road mapping
- Anticipate problem areas and associated risk levels with objective rationale
- Familiar with creating IT Procurement documents and Statement of Work contracts, IT Risk Assessments, Business Strategy and System Architecture
- Drive communication with key stakeholders to resolution: citing outcomes, successes, lessons learned, and next steps
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Set the vision, define the value, and act as a role model for creating a culture that sets superior standards and delivers on time and on budget
- Identify areas of cost savings and productivity improvements
- Coach, mentor, and motivate others to meet organization’s vision, commitment, and goals while fostering positive and constructive feedback, recognition, leadership, and personal and professional development
