What you will get to do:

The Senior Account Executive position will build and manage the OneConnect sales pipeline through market research, analysis and sales/business development presentations.

Partner with research, marketing and support teams to develop an active sales pipeline for our SaaS and Deployment services. This accountability will include activities to create lead generation through brand-building, thought-leadership, prospecting and recruiting activities.

Serve as the primary relationship owner to guide target customer accounts through the customer journey and convert new prospects from the opportunity portfolio into new customers. Responsible for account management, invoicing, etc for designated accounts.

Work with the OneConnect business and contribute to customer feedback, market research, marketing and other related efforts. Research market trends and the competitive landscape for target customer segments to inform business development strategy. Help create internal reports, presentations, sales decks and marketing materials.

Manage Salesforce CRM to help convert prospects from the opportunity portfolio into new customers.


What You’ll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Candidate should have 5-8+ years’ B2B sales or consulting experience, preferably in digital tech, telematics, SaaS and related to transportation
  • Technical background in software and/or automotive electronics/engineering required.
  • Proven track record of customer account management, sales & business development and executing on behalf of integrated sales & marketing campaigns to support new sales opportunities and foster existing accounts
  • Experience integrally working with sales and marketing
  • Experience in working with automotive OEMs and/or suppliers is a plus
  • Experience building and presenting marketing decks and reports is a plus
  • Experience conducting and presenting market research is a plus
  • Experience in working with motorcycle and/or recreation vehicle companies is a plus
  • Experience in working with Japan and/or EU customers is a plus
  • Bi/multi-lingual in Japanese/English, German/English, is also a plus
  • Proven track record of executing on behalf of integrated sales & marketing campaigns to generate new sales opportunities and foster existing accounts
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required

  • Data-driven, can work with a CRM system, understand KPIs and report on success while recommending optimization opportunities for the sales development process.
  • Experience working both independently and within close teams in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple opportunities and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates drive and tenacity to maintain high levels of productivity; works with vigor, effectiveness and determination; Seizes opportunities; Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully
  • A hands-on team player who can also think and execute (thinker/doer).
  • Proven experience executing strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth.
  • Excels at cross-functional communications across marketing, sales, and management.
  • Data-driven, can work with a CRM system, understand KPIs and report on success while recommending optimization opportunities for the sales development process.
  • Experience developing visually powerful PowerPoint presentations is a plus.
  • Experience working both independently and within close teams in a fast-paced work environment, juggling multiple opportunities and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates drive and tenacity to maintain high levels of productivity; works with vigor, effectiveness and determination; Seizes opportunities; Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully

Other Requirements:

  • Position is remote until further notice.
  • Up to 50% US domestic travel & 25% international travel required

 
What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package.  The pay for this position is expected to start at $131,350 per year or higher, based on qualifications.  This position will be eligible for an annual target bonus of 20% based on individual and company performance.
