Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory. Plans and tracks regional customer service efforts in order to provide superior customer service and ensure long term business success. Provides reports to management and customer teams relating to potential opportunities, improvement of products, problem resolution, and corrective action. Develops and maintains excellent working relationship with customers and internal company departments to ensure effective response to customer needs

Major Responsibilities

  • Facilitates all Panasonic connectivity bids both Ku and GX for assigned regional territory
  • Manages proposal assumptions to meet connectivity needs of the customer
  • Works with Finance to determine costs/pricing for our connectivity offers
  • Responds to RFPs on technical questions
  • Manages completion of proposal P&L, leading both execution and executive deal reviews
  • Supports Regional Sales team in customer meetings for connectivity proposals
  • Gives presentations to customers on our connectivity product and future roadmap
  • Has a Sales Business Plan target to meet on an annual basis
  • Is the regional subject matter expert on connectivity for both Panasonic Ku and GX offerings
  • Partners with key functions including the satellite capacity team to execute bid completion
Knowledge / Skill Requirements
  • Technical understanding of Connectivity business and relevant services 
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L construction
  • Deep passion and knowledge of aerospace industry 
  • Relevant commercial experience executing and leading large proposals and reviews
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including leading in matrix organizations and collaborating with multiple functions
  • Effective communicator
  • Great presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate high dollar value deals
  • Strong program management skills to manage deadlines
Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or commensurate work experience. Aviation education or experience preferred. 
  •  7-10 years of Account Management experience.
Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to assigned region.
