Compiles and records production data to prepare records and reports on production volume, consumption of raw materials, quality control and other aspects of production from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications and individual worker production sheets.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares and maintains related summaries and document files
• Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent.
• Daily communications with CSRs on new orders to get them entered at correct production slot based on capacity and customer need by date
• Work directly with buyer to ensure orders can be fulfilled based on inventory and vendor lead times
• Communicate with engineering on new production drawing requirements
• Review design drawings and set up MOMs on new parts
• Recommend capacity changes based on order volume
• Communicate daily production requirements with Production Manager for all value streams
• Communicate daily Shipping Plan to Shipping and Customer Service departments
• Set production goals and manage schedule attainment
• Basic problem solving with production team on daily misses and suggest improvements
• Assist Production Manager in daily reporting processes and efficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• 4-5 Years experience
• High School Graduate

• Considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered
