What You'll Get to Do:

Factory Liaison

  • Forge relationships with factory sales and engineering. Understand factory sales and product strategy. Obtain product strategy, development schedules, pricing etc. Obtain factory buy in and support for US product, marketing, implementation strategies. Responsible for an effective, clear communication with factories and sales.

Product Development and Planning

  • Analyze US market opportunity, size, requirements, potential customers, etc, to develop product introduction strategies. Obtain alignment with sales and the factory.

Sales and P and L Management

  • Create the fiscal year budgets by products for each customer. Monitor monthly progress. Work with sales team to develop sales programs to drive sales. Mange the P and L for the product. Build pricing strategies and implement.

Marketing

  • Analyze the product and the market to develop marketing strategy for production introduction into the US. Understand competitive landscape. Ensure implementable and measurable marketing strategy and ensure implementation and results are achieved.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor ‘s degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Ability to master new technologies quickly strongly preferred
  • New Product Development or Product Management experience is strongly preferred
  • 8 plus years of dynamic product management, development role strongly preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate successful Product Management experience.
  • Candidate can be remote in the United States with a preference in Texas

  • Cross functional, cross border communication
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Communications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective and convincing presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to speak Japanese a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Flexible, quick actions, business travels 35 percent required
