What you’ll get to do:

The role of this Procurement Intern position on the Operations Team within Panasonic is to primarily work on updating and enhancing data input methods. Activities will include Tracking, Processing and Issue resolution of invoices, payments and vendor on-boarding. Through tracking and input, the intern will work with the Supply Chain Analyst to create a more efficient tracking method to make less manual. Intern will learn work closely with SCA to learn as much as they can about the purchasing Process and Procurement functions.

  • Working on data entry, tracking, processing payments.
  • Onboarding vendors.
  • Work with SCA to improve tracking methods.
  • Attend Operations Meetings to familiarize self with operations and team.
  • Attend Procurement Meetings to familiarize self with Procurement and teams.

What You’ll Bring:


This role reports to the Supply Chain Analyst with dotted line to Operations Manger.

Education & Experience:

  • Excel experience with formulas and tracking capabilities.
  • Experience with naming files, moving files, Editing PDF’s, Microsoft Suite, working with large Excel spreadsheets.

NOTE: Internship pay rates are $15/hr to $25/hr, based on the class level (Freshman – Senior) of the candidate and whether the candidate is in an undergrad or graduate school program
NOTE: Interns must be currently enrolled in classes through the duration of the Summer 2021 program in order to be eligible to participate
