Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead large, complex projects/programs with significant scope and business impact.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver projects and programs that support annual financial plans/objectives of the business, primarily focused on customer, market, and technology innovation.
  • Leadership, and mentoring of the cross-functional operations team to improve on time, on budget, and in accordance with strategic business objectives.
  • Champion organizational adherence to best practices, and approved process for project governance. Support agile process innovation development and implementation.
  • Own, maintain and drive improved project performance metrics to ensure delivery of key business objectives.
  • Capture lessons learned, and prioritize the improvement of existing standards, processes, documentation, tools, and metrics for project, program, and portfolio management, tracking, and governance.
  • Build collaborative relationships across the organization to effectively and efficiently accomplish the objectives of the role, e.g., engineering, manufacturing, sales, IT, finance, marketing/product management, etc.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations Project/Program Management
  • Experience applying best practices
  • Experience working in two or more functional areas; Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and/or Operations. Experience in IT alone does not meet this qualification.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Office skills and some experience with CRM, ERP, Workflows, BI, or PowerApps.
  • Strong business leadership, technology acumen, and an ability to influence at all levels.
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, environments while being flexible and able to handle changing scenarios; someone who sees ‘ambiguity’ as an opportunity rather than a hurdle.
  • A high degree of independent leadership, critical thinking, communication, accountability, analytical and teamwork skills.
  • Possess a combination of characteristics, including decisiveness, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, strategic thinking and strong detail- and results-orientation.
  • Demonstrates effective consulting, negotiating, and persuasive skills to diverse audiences, promoting constructive confrontation and issue resolution.
