What You’ll Get to Do:

Communicates the PSSNA value proposition "Why Panasonic" through engaging presentations and conversational meetings vs. leading with hardware while  developing/facilitating sales, engineering, and executive level relationships in assigned accounts.

Engages and leverages relationships with internal resources and industry partners to create opportunities across all PNA to further drive solution based sales throughout Panasonic.

Manages programs from initiation through delivery, interfacing with the customer and company resources on technical and business issues.

Provide timely, accurate & complete sales reports and forecasts along with updating Sales Opportunities in PSSNA Salesforce system for forecasting.

Analyzes and understands partner strategy, future product plans and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies for new business opportunities along with leading the planning, design and implementation of business plans including managing and providing support for the account to develop increased awareness & demand for our products.


What You’ll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or a related discipline.
  • Fully qualified sales account manager. 8 - 12 years sales and business development experience in similar industry. 
  • Understands moderately complex solutions and how to identify the value proposition for each. Understands how value propositions solve complex customer needs.
  • Seasoned experienced sales profession with an understanding of multiple products and services and their connect ability.
  • Has a solid understanding of business, financials, markets and the needs of customers.

Ensures future partnerships by developing strong relationships and resolving issues with partners.  Asks a series of probing questions to get at the root of a situation or problem, below the surface presentation.  Makes a systematic effort over a limited period of time to obtain needed data or feedback or does formal research to provide insight to others. Works across Panasonic North America, including the CTO and Cisc-AM to understand new technologies and solution opportunities and introduce/articulate these offerings to accounts/customers.  

Strategic Thinking - Understands how the value of hardware, services, integration, software and go-to-market (partners, distributors, resellers and integrators) fit into the overall direction that provides a value proposition to our customers and applies this to long term planning with the customer. Builds technology roadmaps that span years. Performs long term forecasting, project forecasting, and is revenue milestone focused. Recognizes partnership opportunities.

Establishes alliances with key customers and work towards building strategic partnership.  Drives the solution, sales and operations strategy focused on the customer needs. Creates a sense of importance and urgency around meeting customer needs to establish your role as a trusted advisor.  Balances the needs with organization readiness, customer, and stakeholders.  Builds organization structures aligned to customer needs. Effectively manages customer expectations by reshaping incorrect/inappropriate assumptions, establishes realistic time frames and uses influence to push back when needed. Acts to build rapport and relationships internal and external customers to build consensus for a solution that will benefit all parties
