The position:

As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for the management the quality assurance systems throughout the European Region.


 Regulatory Oversight

  • Maintains with a positive and trust-based relationship, the regulatory approvals for operations in Europe under the Part 145 Approval.
  • Liaises closely with all applicable regulatory agencies (i.e., IAA, EASA, UK CAA, FAA & TCCA) on all matters affecting the approvals, safety, and quality.
  • Manages new approvals, certification projects and, expansion of existing approvals.
  • Adheres with corporate policies associated with Regulatory Compliance and National Aviation Authorities (NAA).
  • Stays abreast of industry and governmental regulation affecting compliance and brings to the attention of management changes that may affect the approvals/operations.


Operational Oversight

  • Implements an independent audit program in which compliance with applicable requirements is reviewed at regular intervals. Ensures that the audit reports are accurate and fair representations of the facts. Ensures any observed non–compliance or poor standards are brought to the attention of the responsible managers concerned and promotes timely corrective actions.
  • Provides reports and feedback to the Quality Management, Maintenance Management and, the Accountable Manager.
  • Assists and provides advice to the Operations Management on the development of new processes/procedures related to Part 145 Approvals.
  • Manage suppliers to the Part-145 operation including auditing and following up on corrective actions.
  • Issues authorizations for all certifying staff, stores personnel and, quality staff in accordance with the procedures.
  • Ensures all applicable regulatory and standard documentation are assessed and appropriately communicated.
  • Conducts other tasks as assigned by the Director, Pt-145 Regulatory Compliance.
  • Develops processes and procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
  • Stays abreast of industry and governmental regulation affecting compliance and brings to the attention of management changes that may affect the approvals/operations.



  • Manage staff as applicable and requested by the Director, Regulatory Compliance.
  • Manages and conducts training in accordance with the NAA requirements and training plan
  • Leads efforts around, execution, and training on key process improvement and compliance measures.
  • Support SMS and the development and implementation of NAA changes.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environments to protect business interests by the audit of Compliance systems including the adoption of cross-functional assessments and remote audits.

Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements


Reporting and Analysis

  • Implementation, and administration of Regulatory Compliance monthly statistics including collation and reporting to the Accountable Manager and Maintenance Managers.
  • Undertakes root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
  • Maintains and reviews Internal Occurrence Reporting process and databases.


What we're looking for:


  • Expert knowledge of aviation maintenance standards particularly, EASA/FAA/TCAA Part-145.
  •  Experience interacting with the NAA.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to use MS Office Programs
  • Aeronautical, Aerospace, Industrial Electrical, Electronical or Mechanical Engineering Degree or,
  • A minimum of five (5) years of quality assurance/regulatory compliance in civil MRO/Line Maintenance, Safety Management (SMS), Human Factors, or Quality Assurance.
  • Limited domestic and international travel may be required from time to time once/twice a year dependent upon business need.
