Manager, Enterprise Applications:
Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of various enterprise applications within the organization. Manages a team of developers, analysts, and administrators, ensuring the successful delivery and support of enterprise applications to meet the needs of the business both at PCI and ISD.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of developers, analysts, and administrators responsible for enterprise application development and support. Ensures staff development is consistent with Company objectives.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to team members. Adheres to Corporate Employment Equity objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Enterprise Application Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for enterprise application development and management, aligned with the organization's business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate enterprise applications to meet the needs of different departments and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring the organization remains innovative and competitive.
- Application Development and Implementation:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the stability and reliability of applications.
- Application Support and Maintenance:
- Establish processes and procedures for the ongoing support and maintenance of enterprise applications, ensuring maximum uptime and user satisfaction.
- Manage application incidents, problems, and change requests, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor application performance and conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise in implementing and supporting enterprise applications.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, service level agreements, and performance evaluations.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure enterprise applications comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and data security requirements.
- Implement and enforce best practices for data privacy, access controls, and information security.
- Ensures compliance to all GISCM & Panasonic Corporate policy and procedures including but not limited to SOX Compliance.
- Application support
- General administration of SAP System Environment (ERP, BW, IBP and SCM)
- SAP System Monitoring (ERP, BW and SCM)
- Promote Changes to Production Environment (SAP Environment ERP,BW, IBP and SCM)
- Job Scheduling - Planning, Maintaining, Organizing and Coordinating Daily, Weekly,
- Month-End and Year-End schedules for all Batch processing and Job control set up
- AS400 Application and System Monitoring
- Maintain incident logs for any issues that arise.
- Provides guidance to other operations staff.
- Participates in the development of the departmental budgets.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- College or University Degree – 3- or 4-Years of Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant application support and delivery experience.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise application development and support teams.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise application development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for enterprise application development, integration, and support.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (SAP ERP), integrated business planning (SAP IBP), extended warehouse management (SAP EWM), and other commonly used enterprise applications.
- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security standards applicable to enterprise applications.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
