What You’ll Get to Do:

Do you have labor and employment law experience?  Have you advised on OSHA issues?  Do you thrive in fast paced, customer centric environments?  If so, we encourage you to apply!  In this role, you will support our strategic partnership with Tesla and be based at our dynamic and cutting edge Gigafactory in Sparks, NV.  Great opportunity to join a global high performance Legal team and counsel multiple stakeholders.

Assigned responsibility for Human Resources, Benefits, EEO and related legal matters as assigned by Sr. Labor & Employment counsel.

  • Provide legal advice and support to Legal Department, management and Human Resources on a broad range of employment issues such as policies and procedures, recruiting; hiring; employee relations; discipline and terminations; internal investigations; leaves of absence; wage and hour compliance; benefits, EEO compliance; restrictive covenants; labor law issues and contingent worker issues.
  • Draft and edit employment-related documents and processes.
  • Manage and/or provide support on pre-litigation and litigation matters relating to the above substantive legal areas.
  • Manage and/or provide support on pre-litigation and litigation matters relating to the above substantive legal areas.
  • Advise on employee health and safety issues, OSHA compliance and related issues.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Law degree from accredited law school required. Admission to a state bar (In house admission to NJ bar will be required)
  • 3-5+ years’ of employment law experience
  • Experience with counseling on, or litigation related to, federal and state employment laws and regulations (including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII etc.)
  • Labor Law and OSHA experience a plus

Problem Solving/Know How:

  • Extensive knowledge of legal regulations and practices for assigned subject areas and business sectors


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong client relation skills.
  • Ability to work directly with management
  • Experience working on complex projects
