The key responsibility of the Inventory Manager is to facilitate the process of finished product from multiple manufacturing sites to the end customer while controlling and optimizing finished goods inventory levels. The Inventory Manager has the responsibility for continuous improvement of the storage process after manufacturing or procurement until final delivery. This position will work across functional teams including Sales, Manufacturing, Operations and Suppliers to ensure continuous improvement of the process to best serve customers as well as meet financial and operating objectives. You will report to Sr Director, Sales Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for inventory management
  • Develop and implement best practices in Inventory processes, procedures, and tools to achieve Sales and Inventory goals
  • Identify new Inventory techniques, analytics and technologies to improve overall supply process
  • Coach stakeholders on Inventory strategies for enabling the business to respond effectively to the demand and supply variability
  • Optimize finished goods inventory stocking levels and locations to most effectively service customer demand and reduce freight and storage costs
  • Create a process for monthly review of finished goods inventory to optimize inventory levels and disposition aged inventory
  • Lead Inventory Cost and Planning meetings with Sales, Operations and Leadership
  • Manage Inventory and Cost using multiple reporting systems
  • Track, report, and analyze performance results to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive accountability and process improvement based on KPIs and targets including creating action plans, issue resolution and tracking
  • Create standard work procedures and policies of all roles involved with inventory management


Qualifications:



  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Inventory Management
