The Inventory Coordinator/administrator will perform work in areas of the warehouse including stockroom, shipping and receiving. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfilment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

 

As an Inventory Coordinator/administrator your main duties will include:

 

  • Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
  • Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
  • Post weight and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
  • Examine stocks and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
  • Perform Cycle Counts.
  • Provides administrative tasks, clerical support, operational facilitation, and secretarial duties, and other tasks so as to increase the operational efficiency of the department.
  • Provide accurate, detailed and timely responses to problems and queries.
  • Consults and advises other departments of technical and non-technical problems and issues as needed to develop reports and presentations.
  • Receive units from the Dock; and, into Oracle Receiving system.
  • Read and understand customer repair orders and customer warranty claims. 
  • Create daily inventory report for units in Receiving (External and Internal) that ready for repair and to process units into database.
  • Contribute towards attaining PAC goals and objectives by assisting and support other departments as required.
  • Consistently exhibit professionalism in order to enhance our customer’s perception of the Company.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Base Manager

 

 

Skills and Qualification

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization as well as external customers.
  • Ability to provide administrative support, make travel arrangements and handle general office duties.
  • Ability to analyze data/information, draw conclusions and make written and verbal recommendations based on that analysis.
  • Proficient in the use of MS office suite of software applications i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • Must have full UK Driving Licence
  • Ideally have experience working in an airside airport environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization as well as external customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to work collaboratively with internal and external customers at all levels and diverse backgrounds.
  • Practiced ability to complete tasks quickly including the capability to multi-task.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to provide administrative support,
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to prioritize and carry out routine responsibilities with minimum supervision.
  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
