We have an opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator for a short 4 month temporary contract in our Langley offices to assist in ensuring that all Piece Parts & Line Replaceable Unit’s (LRU’s) are correctly received/issued and shipped in accordance with PAC/JAA/CAA/HM Customs and Excise regulations.
KEY ACTIVITY AREAS:
The booking in of Customer LRUs, PAC Piece Parts and various ancillary items.
The issuing of Piece Parts to Technicians.
The receipt, Packing and Shipping of repaired units.
Cycle counting and reconciliation.
Internal customs issues.
Liaising with Airside staff on issuing of spares
Other reasonable duties as requested by Management
Must have full UK Driving Licence
Must have stores/warehouse experience, preferably in aviation.
Good communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a small team.
Good computer literacy – ability to understand and create Microsoft Spreadsheets / Lotus / Oracle, or similarly styled Inventory Control systems.
Ability to prioritise and flex workflow in accordance with Repair shop requirements.
Understanding of basic JAR/CAA regulations a bonus
