What you will get to do:

Information System and Supply Chain Analyst will be in charge of automating current manual processes of PSI, planning and chargeback management while also managing the day-to-day supply chain, planning, PSI and operations through data collection and analysis. Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of reports, dashboards, ad-hoc reporting solutions, and analytical findings to meet business needs and support decision-making. The candidate will need to be located in the Newark, NJ area, we are offering a hybrid/ flexible schedule

System Automation/Enhancement:

  • Implement new software systems and tools to automate PSI, planning, Chart for 3 categories (Solar, Storage and Power tools)
  • Maintain and upgrade information systems for PSI and planning for 3 categories
  • Automate and Implement special pricing and rebates for solar and storage categories
  • Automate chargeback management by developing a system to calculate and manage rebates and chargeback

Business Intelligence/Master Data/Reporting:

  • Work on development and deployment of new SCM/Business Intelligence Initiatives
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using advanced techniques & submit findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Standardize data collection by developing methods for database design and validation reports & create tools to store data
  • Develop data visualization techniques to transform the data into more depictive models that help with the reporting building of dashboards for strategic decision making
  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality
  • Assists in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures, and data replication to ensure access to and integrity of data sets
Business Support:
  • Maintain all fields and develop and champion the consistency and accuracy of all data in the system, including but not limited to; customer, vendor, pricing, and production information
  • Develop training materials and specifications documentation for BI reports, dashboards, and other outputs
  • Develop and maintain KPI metrics and ways to analyze data to improve customer service levels reports for internal & external stakeholders 

Supply Chain Management:

  • Maintain and manage PSI process via automated systems on a monthly basis for SEASG (Solar Energy and Assembly Systems Group).
  • Collect forecast from sales team, analyze the forecast and input in Macro PSI to calculate new forecast and planning.
  • Prepare reports and KPI’s for sales planning meeting for all 3 categories.
  • Perform various SCM activities ie: issuance of purchase orders, verifying delivery dates, monitoring stock levels, recommend reorder points, & inbound/outbound trace and track
  • Collect data on supply chain operations
  • Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations
  • Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods
  • Establish and maintain relationship with shippers and suppliers while promoting company initiatives and values
  • Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards
  • Work with Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics and IT departments to enhance service delivery


What You’ll Bring:

  • Reports to Manager, Sales Operations
  • Has no direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information System or a relevant field required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience or Master’s degree with 1 year experience
  • Exceptional computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel specifically with the use of complex formulas and functions, to include but not limited to VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF and nested IF Statements required
  • Prior experience with SAP/ERP required
  • Solid IT foundation required
  • Experience with visualization (Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos) highly preferred
  • Database development and SQL skills required
  • Knowledge of Programming languages preferred
  • Detailed oriented & thorough
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work accordingly
  • Self-motivator who will require minimal supervision
  • Presentation skills
  • Understands business implications of decisions
  • Aligns work with strategic goals;
