What You'll Get to Do:

Troubleshooting Customer Issues:

  • Resolve complex questions and problems presented by the customer
  • Advise on the set up of control systems and the commissioning of product including but not limited to, refrigerant charging, addressing of components and zones and other field settings

On-Site Support:

  • Coordinate with Manager to conduct on-site technical support to customers including service and project startup

Administrative:

  • Processes spare parts orders and supports warranty administration for customers and Panasonic warranty staff
  • Provide comprehensive reports related to activities, training conducted, service calls, product commissioning and other product issues

Professional Development:

  • Stay up to date on all Panasonic HVAC products and related  controls
  • Increase overall technical skills and product knowledge

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience:

  • Successfully completed a certified factory HVAC training course (Panasonic or other manufacturer)
  • 5 years field experience or equivalent in field experience required
  • 2 years VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) experience required
  • EPA, CFC certification
  • HVAC contractor license in at least one state, prior employment at a licensed HVAC contractor, or prior employment with an HVAC manufacturer
  • Have a good understanding of HVAC controls and refrigeration
  • Experience with Microsoft office

  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to make decisions by company policy with moderate input from management 
Communications:
  • Able to work with contractors and distributors on a technical level
  • Communicate at a high level with management and be willing to bring ideas to the table footer

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively from home office
  • Travel at times up to 5 percent
