Oversee assigned site branch Installation project, report progress to Installation Supervisor/Project Manager with the optimal goal to provide safe, quality and efficient service as well as maximize profit and maintain customer satisfaction.

Salary: $26.00 - $43.00 / Hr. Compensation is based on the cost of living, experience, relevant education, and unique skills.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for the completion of assigned projects during the installation of commercial refrigeration equipment to meet customer expectations and scheduled deadlines.
  • Determine schedules, orders, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, equipment quantity, and personnel skill.
  • Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
  • You will ensure compliance with internal contracting processes regarding customer-specific documentation and closeout processes.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion by reviewing hours worked and material cost of the project.
  • Meet with the Project Manager, contractors, and owners to discuss the project’s scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
  • Coordinate Installation or remodel job on-site to include installers and helpers and provide guidance to the team.
  • Coordinate material and estimation of labor.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
  • Read and comprehend plans and blueprints to trade regarding installing all cabling, communication loops, and components associated with installing energy management and refrigerant leak systems.
  • Perform all job responsibilities of an Installation Technician ability to delegate tasks and motivate individuals.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations.
  • Ensure use of PPE and monitor safe behavior, by all employees.
  • Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
  • You will report to the Installation Manager.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Formal Education Requirement:

    Required Level: High School Diploma, GED, OR Ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Technical Degree

    Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience directly related to refrigeration or HVAC. Rack and Controls experience is strongly preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects to fifty pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Will work nights, weekends, and out of town as required.
  • Manages multiple projects, deadlines, and other repsonbilibitlies.
