The HR Project Specialist – Talent Acquisition/Communications provides professional leadership, coordination and support for the Talent and Communication Human Resources functions. Develops and implements support programs to enable the success of the organization.
Projects and program support to include:
Talent Acquisition:
Maintain relationships with third party vendors. Act as liaison to Panasonic North America (PNA) for consistent and best talent practices
Troubleshoot process issues and manage adherence to policy with external vendors
Recruitment process updates and ownership
Employer Branding: Development recruitment blitz strategies – particularly around online strategy
Develop, track and analyze acquisition metrics to inform decisions and ongoing process improvements
Collaborates with a variety of internal colleagues including Panasonic Northam America, internal recruiting team members, marketing and communications team members, and training and organizational development team members to build a cohesive, consistent methodology in Hussmann’s approach to recruiting initiatives
Internal Employee Communications:
Support internal communications for 1.2 BB Worldwide headquarters in Bridgeton, MO and launch a program to support site-specific communications to other facilities as needed
Develop internet content that deepens the connection our employees have with our company, culture, teams and values. This includes employee interviews and story writing for employee engagement.
Assist with other communications projects as time allows (video skills are a plus)
Key projects and initiatives as assigned
Support Director HR in project coordination and follow up to ensure delivering excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required
5 + years’ experience in HR -project management a plus
Experience working with Talent Acquisition and HR Generalists
Process Driven
Excellent writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel – (Pivot Table, Macros), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI
Prior knowledge of state and federal employment laws applicable to the hiring of employees, including affirmative action and equal employment opportunity requirements.
Experience with web-based systems (specifically applicant tracking systems) and recruiting sources, including the internet, social media, events, networking, publications, industry groups/associations, and job fairs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long term relationships.
