Essential Duties:

  • Providing hands on support to the HR Client Support team, HR functional team and business leaders in all areas to include HRIS, reporting, payroll and time keeping, and all other HR Operations activities.
  • Ensuring high quality HR transactional data management. Responsible for employee data and accuracy.
  • Creating and implementing data maintenance processes and audits.
  • Support data corrections, org changes, transfer of workers as well as participate in set up of HR programs.
  • Maintain the long-term integrity of the HRIS Environment while being flexible and nimble to the business and evolving requirements
  • Partner with all PEXNA HR Shared Services team members to support/assist with solutions and processes that are key to PENA operations and growth.
  • Support any internal and external audits regarding HR processes, ensuring compliance to existing audit standards, responding to, and complying with any internal/external investigations, audits, assessments and leading in corrective actions.
  • Collaborates effectively with others in order to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within the HR functional area(s).
  • Improving the overall operational systems employee experience.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a requirement for some roles at PENA and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications:  Requirements - Required and/or Preferred


  • Requires:  Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field or equivalent w/ certifications and education. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience within Human Resources function, with preference in areas of HR Operations, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS in a corporate, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
  • HRIS experience required, advance experienced in multiple modules a plus.
  • Analytical orientation – demonstrated capability for data-driven decisions and data analysis. High systems comfort level.
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Other systems experience such as human capital management or enterprise resource planning is a plus.
  • Clear communication skills- Succinct and vivid for topics that can be complex.
  • Multi-cultural sensitivity and adaptability, both in corporate culture and manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Adaptability to adjust as the business grows and evolves.
  • Limited travel required – less than 5% - largely for benchmarking / training
  • Onsite Position in Reno/Sparks, NV facility
  • Willingness to learn, teach, and build.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
