What you will get to do:

Our ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with various business teams within Panasonic Industrial Devices  and Panasonic North America to ensure a comprehensive marketing strategy is developed and there is consistency across PIDSA and PNA. The Group Manager, Marketing must demonstrate excellent digital marketing skills combined with knowledge of the latest marketing techniques.

  • Brand Awareness and Lead Generation and Tracking (direct contribution & team implementation)
  • Business Strategy, Go-To-Market Tactics, Business Planning, Market Analysis, Messaging
  • Strategic Marketing Relationships with Sales Cos & HQ, Team Building, and coordination with Sales
  • Product Marketing & Collaterals (team implementation)
  • PR and related press opportunities
  • Work with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and sales/lead generating campaigns that attract new customers and keep current customers
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to determine ROI and which campaigns were most effective
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
  • Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of PIDSA
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to PIDSA’s products or services
  • Support the development marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards
  • Support market research projects in line with the needs of PIDSA Divisions
  • Support Account Based Marketing (ABM) projects in line with the needs of PIDSA Divisions
  • Support all PIDSA content development, advertising, lead generating and tracking activities
  • Support the design and implement company digital strategies within budget requirements
  • Set specific digital objectives and monitor progress
  • Ensure smooth operation for all digital tools and applications (e.g. website, blogs and social media)
  • Support all digital projects
  • Analyze SEO and marketing metrics
  • Help generate innovative ideas to increase web traffic
  • Train internal teams to use digital technologies
  • Collaborate with internal teams like PNA to leverage resources and insure brand consistency
  • Suggest new optimization methods to improve customer experience
  • Ensure web best practices are met
  • Lead Supervise and help develop a multi-disciplinary team of marketing specialists
  • To motivate, support, and manage staff according to PIDSA’s supervision and appraisal policies
  • To support the team in prioritizing activity where there is greatest opportunity to build awareness and uptake, or influence
  • Employ and manage all 3rd Party marketing resources

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing required, MBA desired
  • 10+ years managing B2B demand generation marketing, brand awareness, PR and press communications, product marketing and collateral development, web site content development, and eMarketing techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition
  • Ability to lead groups and be decisive 
  • Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies
  • Time management and organization in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
  • Proficient with analysis and design software and tools
  • Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM
  • Experience in channel strategy, program management, or product strategy/management.
  • Experience with international markets
