ITC Global requires a Finance Administrator to join their team in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The Finance Administrator is responsible for providing support to the Financial Controller and Finance team. A key part of this role is to maintain and file all finance documents and support audit requests by providing information to meet deadlines from external and internal auditors. In addition, this role will provide support in collating Financial information from EMEA entities and assist in verifying information complies with financial policies and procedures
Your duties will include:
General Administration and accounting support (80%)
Maintains a filing system for all supplier & customer related documents
Collates information Financial information from other EMEA entities
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports
Verifies that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
Provides support for audit sample requests
Creates filing system for all legacy paperwork from EMEA region
Provides support to AP & AR team
Assist with maintenance of supplier & customer database on ERP system
Assists in month-end closing activities for the company’s accounting department.
Other general tasks (20%)
Supports the finance team with the SOX compliance.
Handles telephone calls, e-mails and mail and ensure follow up
Handles the import and export VAT documents
Ensures appropriate working environment (office supply, meeting room booking, refreshments etc.)
Additional ad hoc activities requested by manager
Respects and complies with internal HSE procedures.
Proven ability to effectively manage time in accordance with department
High-level of attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and telephone skills.
IT proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Normally follows established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments

At least 2 year of practical experience in a similar position
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics desirable
