This position is responsible for managing all maintenance, equipment, furniture, and service requirements that impact the office environment; recommending, planning and executing site space-plan changes; planning and managing annual facility spending for office services, mailroom services, building and grounds maintenance, facility expansion or improvement projects; and for managing the physical facility security. In addition, this position is responsible to manage and lead all Manufacturing Engineers, drive productivity, line optimization, etc.
- Maintain Facility Services - Manage existing office space to meet business and employee needs; work with team to develop and recommend site plan changes as space and business needs change and to coordinate and manage facility projects; manage facility spending-- work with team to identify the building and grounds general maintenance and capital improvement expenditures.
- Ensure Physical Facility Security - Manage contract security personnel; ensure that written security procedures are current and utilized; recommend and implement security equipment improvements.
- Manage Plant Manufacturing Engineering Process – Plans, directs, coordinates and improves manufacturing processes for optimal and efficient production operation and use of company assets.
- Office Maintenance - coordinate and supervise all office maintenance services, internal and external, to ensure that timely and cost-effective services are provided.
- Leadership - Directs the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering group in the development of production documentation, methods, tooling and equipment requirements, make/buy decisions, and CI projects.
- Direct Facility Maintenance staff to maintain plant, office, and grounds.
- Preventative Maintenance - Manage and improve PM process for all machinery and equipment. General Service - Manage facility contracts for grounds, equipment, etc; recommend changes/improvements to ensure cost-effective and quality services.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering required
- Five or more years facilities/office management experience and 5 + years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Excellent planning, organizing and communications skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt required. Black Belt preferred
