This position will manage all aspects of a service, installation, construction, and equipment sales to global government entities. It includes responsibility for driving operational excellence and dramatic growth through strategic initiatives. The position has P&L responsibility, sales of service, install product offerings, equipment sales adherence to administrative policies and the leadership, management and development of staff.
Responsibilities:
Drive dramatic growth and operational excellence through strategic growth initiatives related to service, installation, construction, equipment sales, performance parts and recurring revenue generation.
Manage multiple branch operations to meet sales and operating income goals.
Utilize other balanced scorecard metrics to manage branches to established targets.
Maintain a strong understanding of the Branch Financial Model and utilizes the model to manage the Service and Installation Department to an Operating Income target.
Play a key role in developing territory annual operating plan (AOP) and manages various businesses to ensure AOP targets are achieved.
Foster/develop partnerships/relationships to facilitate an environment where employees are empowered
Initiate process improvements within Branch Operations Monitor and ensure administrative procedures are being adhered to in accordance with Hussmann guidelines.
Hire, develop, manage and motivate a competent branch operations sale staff. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
This position has a branch in Omaha, NE, and leaders spread across multiple regions.
Will have P&L responsibility for a $10 - $15 million-dollar segment of installation/construction, $20 - $25 million-dollar segment of service/facility maintenance, and $8 - $15 million in equipment sales.
Must be able to drive or maintain 20% - 25% operating income.
Customers are government entities with sites spread across the globe.
Formal Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 5 years’ relevant experience or high school plus 10 years’ relevant experience
Requirements:
Strong background in management/supervisory function with P&L responsibility for multiple operations
Working knowledge of basic refrigeration and/or knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC preferred
Experience as a government contractor with facility maintenance preferred
Strong leadership and business acumen
Ability to successfully manage multiple, completing priorities/tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, time management skills
Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours, as required
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Travel to domestic service locations and domestic and international project locations as required
