  • This role consists of dispatcher and parts procurement clerk tasks
  • Schedule and dispatch service technicians for routine maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Answer and direct inbound phone calls
  • Text technicians and track locations using GPS software applications
  • Manage technician check-in and checkout
  • Manage on-call schedule and communications with contact center
  • Provide Alliance super-user mobile phone support
  • Manage warranty process and work scheduling
  • Prioritize calls and leverage appropriate workforce
  • Respond to customer difficulties with billing and service actions
  • Communicate work orders, messages and information to or from supervisors or technicians
  • Confer with customers/management to address questions, problems, or requests for service
  • Close work tickets and contact customers for feedback regarding performance/quality
  • Respond to and review calls taken by the call center
  • Resolves parts procurement issues with suppliers
  • Process orders received from service and installation teams
  • Create, maintain, update, and reconcile purchase orders
  • Adhere to purchase order company policies and procedures
  • Order parts for sheet metal, controls, HVAC, refurbishing, and installation operations
  • Support orders in inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration processes
  • Review invoices for purchased commodities as required by accounts payable
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Dispatch experience with knowledge of parts procurement practices
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities/tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, time management skills, and high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration/HVAC a plus
  • High level of professionalism and diplomacy
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills with ability to handle high call volume
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, learn quickly, think rationally and exercise good judgment
  • Work effectively in diverse team environment
