Work with the StoreConnect team to provide support and development of the StoreConnect AWS environment. This includes building and verifying StoreConnect software, product release management, extending and maintaining the StoreConnect development environment and monitoring and managing the StoreConnect infrastructure.
Role and Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of deployment software used to create and update StoreConnect software and configuration in an AWS environment
- Extend the StoreConnect AWS environment, including scaling and security analysis
- Perform StoreConnect product releases
- First line of technical support for the StoreConnect AWS infrastructure, including triage of software, networking, resource, and security issues
- Manage and Build Docker containers
- Maintain and extend the StoreConnect development environment using tools including Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform and Docker
- Monitor and maintain the StoreConnect operational environment using tools including Prometheus, Grafana and Nagios
- Support build and test of the StoreConnect infrastructure
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of experience with Linux system administration
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing and cloud hosting services
- AWS experience with services including EC2, ECS, S3, ELB, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, and more
- Experience with networking
- Experience with security protocols
- Working knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to take initiative and effect change
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills; wants to build the tools the team needs and be ready to support the StoreConnect development environment
