About the Role:

This Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for protecting company assets, including networks, endpoints, servers, cloud, IoT, OT, applications and data from threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses, or attacks by cyber-criminals. This position will also play a key role in developing and supporting our global security awareness program.

 Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and protection of networks, endpoints, servers, cloud, IoT, OT, Data and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies
  • Implement security measures to protect networks, endpoints, servers, cloud, IoT, Data and applications
  • Monitor and analyze intrusion detection to identify security issues
  • Monitor and manage next-generation anti-virus, EDR and DLP
  • Monitor and respond to threat alert from SIEM
  • Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information
  • Perform computer security incident response activities 
  • Evaluate firewall change requests and assess organizational risk
  • Assist with the implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls
  • Manage third-party security firms to perform periodic audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Improve security position by educating employees and strengthening existing controls
  • Maintain knowledge of current security technologies

 Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or directly related work experience
  • 2-3 years of related experience in cybersecurity administration and network administration 
  • Experience in switch, router and firewall configuration

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
  • Experience in information security or related field
  • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
  • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
